While I admit that the show manages more right than wrong in one or two aspects, it still manages to be an incredibly bland and generic LN adaptation in the eyes of almost anyone who is experienced enough anime. If the anime ever renews, then it would probably add some new and more interesting characters.But as of now no new announcement regarding the cast has been carried.Rakudai Kisihi no Calvary is a show that does a hell of a lot more wrong than it does right, manages to fall into all the typical LN tropes, and still manages to have an incredibly fervent fanbase which thinks that somehow it is an original show which averts many tropes used in LN-adaptations. And if we do see a renewal approval by the end of the year, chances of it hitting the screen by 2022 is the only possibility.
Our best conjecture is that the Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry would probably never come out. But in mid-2021 now there are still no updates regarding a new season.
Season 1 did just alright and shortly after the conclusion, there were voices on a new season.
